Henry VI, Cardinal Wolsey (1475-1530) was an English politician and royal administrator who was eventually made a cardinal and a lord chancellor. He was recalled and tried for treason in 1520, but was acquitted and was restored to favor in 1521. He continued in high office under Henry VIII. He died in 1530.
