Sally and Jay's relationship was one of the more intriguing parts of the book.

A strong believer in following your dreams even at major costs, though the love she has for her family dwarfs even that. A tad naive and a little too eager to hop into decisions without previous planning, but always rearing for adventure. On her travels with the ninja she showed great bravery and kindness, though also a bit of double standards and misunderstandings. Alls well that ends well though.
