Very protective of Emberson, especially after the loss of his wife to the demon Lilith after she possessed her.
He was afraid that event would lead to Emberson growing up to be a miserable person, so he sheltered and protected him from everything he could.
Because of this he leads his son to believe that his mother, Kaze, can still be saved after Lilith is exorcised, but since she was possessed for too long she will most likely die afterwards. He feels guilty for not telling him about this, but he doesn’t want his son to fall to despair.
