ling's main goal is... well, he doesn't really have any main goal. he has too many goals to have a main goal, but overall he's just trying to get through life in the most entertaining way possible- he'd like to leave as much of an impression on the world as possible, and he wants as much freedom as he can get, although he usually gets a bit restrained from his own overthinking, which makes him go on overload, as he ends up acting recklessly in an attempt to go through all the options that he had formulated in his head. while his best friend, xia, uses anger as a coping mechanism, ling tends to use humor to throw people off track to avoid talking about his true feelings.
