Roman is a supporting character in my novel “Memento Mori.” Ever since he was young, he was taught to avoid trouble at all costs. This prevented him from developing worthwhile relationships, and he hated himself for it. Eventually, he decided to rebel against his father’s warnings, and chose to form a life for himself. Roman is highly defensive and loyal, and hates when others do nothing about all the wrong in the world. He views doing nothing to be just as bad as doing evil. He longs for independence, but finds himself retreating to safety when encountered with danger. Sensitive and compassionate, Roman is a great friend and brother to have on your side. He frequently bottles up his emotions, causing prolonged emotional outbursts. Throughout the novel, Roman searches to make things right and correct the errors of his past ways.
