I think it’s because as a Chinese person, I have a very strong sense of self-confidence. I know that I’m capable of doing anything and everything I set my mind to.
I don’t think that many Westerners do have this understanding of themselves. Westerners will often think that they are average or mediocre, but really, they are just average. They don’t really have the confidence to do anything incredible. They’ll stay in their little life bubble, never leaving.
On the other hand, I try to live each day as if it were my last day on earth.
