Sasha Buckler personality type is ESFP, and I am an ENFP. We are both Introverted and Sensing, but we’re not exactly the same. ESFPs are more extroverted than ENFPs. ENFPs like to be in the spotlight, so they feel more comfortable with other people, whereas ESFPs often feel uncomfortable in situations that are too crowded, especially if they have to speak. They’re more likely to become shy or awkward if they’re in a group of people they don’t know well. ESFPs feel more comfortable alone and can be less social than ENFPs, but they are good at being sociable when they choose to be.
I understand what this means for me personally. I spend a lot of time alone, and yet I still find myself often speaking up in social situations. In high school, I was often picked on for being quiet and shy. The other kids called me “weird” or “creepy” or “crazy”. It took me a long time, but I learned to value my own quietness and shyness as a gift rather than something that makes me weird or creepy, or something I should hide.
