Aslı’s life story
Aslı was born in Istanbul on 26 September 1993. Her father is an engineer and her mother is a designer. Her family moved to Germany when she was four and she lived there until she was 14 years old. Since her father had to work a lot, Aslı often lived alone with her mother, who worked as a designer.
Aslı learned to play the piano at the age of nine. She started taking German and English lessons in high school, but didn’t like the language classes that much. She also took to theatre classes and participated in the school’s choir and the school’s dance group. She is a member of the jury of the national talent show ‘Schüler-TV’ (Channel TV) and has been an active member of the jury for more than nine years. She is also an actress in several German-Turkish cultural projects.
