He wrote a newspaper column at the age of fifteen and started writing songs as a hobby. However, it was only after he joined Ümraniye University's Faculty of Economics, where he studied law, that he started writing songs seriously.
Müge released his first album "Yağmur" ("Storm") in 2009. The album was recorded during the summer of 2009 and released jointly by Müge and his colleagues. The song "Yağmur" ("Storm") from the album became a hit. In the same year, Müge took part in the song "Bana Biraz Ev" ("Hold Me for a While"), which was composed by Aylin Tunçboyacıoğlu, with Cengizhan Yıldırım, Seda Tümer, İbrahim Dursun and Müge himself. The song was performed by Müge and Tümer at the Evkaf Festival.
