"I have a hard time connecting with my people because I'm not a people person," she admits.
She also finds that she struggles to socialise with people she feels privileged to meet. "It's difficult to just get out there and meet people if you feel like you're not worthy of meeting them," she says. "You feel like you can't connect with them."
So what does she do? Caroline does her best to find ways to connect with people of different backgrounds, incomes and cultures. She's been volunteering for an organisation that works with refugee children in Indonesia.
"I love the fact that it's non-invasive and I'm not trying to change anything about the kids," she says. "I love the fact that it's just a good way of connecting with people."
"I think that most of the time, you can find something that you connect with," she adds. "Do I meet a lot of people who are really successful and really rich? No. But do I meet a lot of people who are really successful, really rich and really generous? Yes."
