Serena is very short-tempered and rude to people because of her past. Yet Serena knew she didn’t mean it, She also would put her anger out on other people and didn’t like socializing and also being a loner because of her past aswell. Which when people saw Serena angry they would stay away from her, and when Serena realized this she often blamed herself for scarring people off and not having much friends. She would also be rude to her cousin Sammy often to. (telling Sammy not to sit with her, rejecting her offers to be roommates.) Sammy was the opposite of her. Treating others with kindness, being very optimistic and overall looking on the bright side of things! Which when Sammy would tell her to not put her wings out/flying (I’ll explain why in comments.) which it made Serena think Sammy thought She was dumb and also made Serena think that Sammy was just some dumbie who thought she knew everything and thought she was better then everyone else.
