Grandad personality type is ISFJ, and our first memory of him is of him waking us up and making us come to breakfast. He was a very early riser and we always went to breakfast with him. We always had the same routine every day. He would wake us up at 8.30am and we would go upstairs and get dressed and then we’d come downstairs and have breakfast with him. He was a very good cook. He was a meticulous cook who always made sure we had a good breakfast, no matter what time we got up. It’s just the way he was.
We had a family meal and then we would play outside. He was a good family man and he instilled that in us because we were all the same age – we were all brought up by our grandparents – and we always had nice manners when we came in for breakfast with them. We just used to have nice manners when we came in for breakfast with them.
He was an excellent dad. He was a good dad, he was very strict, but in a good way. He was tough, but in a good way. He knew when it was time to be tough with us.
