Chang Yi Soo personality type is ISTP, but he's a true type A personality. He may be an ISTP, but he's definitely not an ISTP who is "just" a type A, he's a type A who is an ISTP. According to this book, ISTPs are often not type A at all, and tend to be more like type B. I'm not sure if I agree with that statement, but it does seem that more ISTP don't have the confidence to be type A, which makes sense. So the way I see it, this book is more about why the more typical type A is so afraid of being type A, than it is about the ISTP who is just a type A.
I think this book is useful for many types, not just ISTPs. This book is one of the first books that I bought in my ISTP journey, and I've read it several times since, and I'm still learning from it.
Sometimes a book can only do so much for you. This book can't make you an ISTP (or an INFJ or whatever), but it can help you understand yourself as an ISTP as well as help you understand your ISTP friends better.
