Jackson is a recurring character in the series, he is a scruffy looking elderly green male cat with a missing eye and three missing limbs.
He was the pet cat of Betty, before she got Max. It is a running gag in the series that he continuously dies around Max, (though its always completely unintentional on Max's part) yet returns back to life, before dying again. After spending several years living alone on the streets of the neighbourhood, he moves back to live in Betty's apartment, to Max's horror as they have a cursed relationship. After getting whacked by a wrecking ball, Jackson moves out of Betty's apartment again and decides to live alone in the neighbourhood, from here on he poses no threat to Max or Gark but still hates Max for being the cause of his deaths.
