The Cat Toy God (whose real name is Peregrine), is a recurring male character of the series, he is a proud, childish, egocentric cat who lives in an alternate dimension found under Betty's Sofa. He is very possessive of cat toys, as his name suggests, and when Max visited his world to get his missing cat toy back, (alongside Gark, who used his ability to create wormholes to do so), they eventually met with a hostile and demanding Cat Toy God, who refused outright to let Max have his mouse toy back, claiming it was his, which lead to them becoming arch-enemies. Despite his bold personality, he is shown to get easily hurt and upset and back down, when he is outwitted and his plans fail. He visits Earth several times throughout the series to get back at Max.
