Mary Ann Singleton personality type is ENFJ, the “Activist” personality. Whenever I write a book about her, I always include a section on the ENFJ type and how it fits into the Myers-Briggs model. I always ask myself “why do I keep writing about the Activist type?”. The answer is because I started researching the Myers-Briggs model in college and found that it was a very useful tool to help me understand myself and others. In my recent book, I explain how the Activist type is among the most popular personality types in the world, and that it’s great to be an ENFJ.
The Activist type is also the most common type in the United States, according to a 2010 Gallup poll. The Activist type makes up about one in three people in the United States. That’s a lot of people!
But why is the Activist type so popular? There are many reasons, but one of the most important reasons is that Activists are generally good problem solvers. They want to do their part to improve our world and make a difference in the lives of others. This sense of purpose gives them a sense of calm and confidence.
