It's one of her many talents that I admire, but she doesn't like showing off these skills because she doesn't want people to think she's "just like a boy."
I had to laugh at that because there's nothing "just like a boy" about my daughter. She's an art lover, capable of fixing things, and proud of her abilities. She just has a different way of showing off what she can do. She's also very confident in who she is and doesn't feel the need to prove herself or be someone she's not.
