She loves the arts as well as music. Olympas has a special gift for music. She wrote a song for every character in the book. It is a song for each of them, and they all have their own songs.
A high school junior at the time of her interview with me, Olympas is now a sophomore at a Christian school in California. She wants to be a writer and an artist. “I want to be a song writer,” she says. “I want to write children’s books and other books that people can relate to because I feel that that’s kind of what it’s about, you know? To share your point of view or your story with other people.”
Olympas uses her SongWriter program on her iPad to write songs for her stories. She writes songs for her characters and then transfers them to her computer.
