1. The Inner Critic by Carol S. Dweck
This is the book that changed my life. It was one of the first books that I read when I was struggling to figure out how to improve my writing. Before I read The Inner Critic, I believed that I was a bad writer because I never finished my first drafts. In fact, I still don’t like the way I write, but it’s getting better! This book explained that I simply needed to change my mindset.
