Lewis said his daughter never talked about her family and her home life, but he had some ideas of what was going on.
He said she was abused by her mother and stepfather, who is also her guardian. The stepfather had been arrested early in the investigation and was released on $10,000 bail in August, police said. No charges have been filed.
"I have a lot of insight into what went on," Lewis said.
