Irresponsible Dad personality type is ESTP, and I am a natural born leader, so I have a great deal of influence over my children.
One of the keys to being a great Dad is to be able to show strength, confidence and direction. The reason I was able to provide so much direction to my children was because I knew I was doing what was best for them.
Most of my children were raised by two parents. My wife and I sort of split up our duties in our parenting roles. My wife would handle the house and the kids, while I would take care of the business and finances. I’m not sure if this is common or not, but it worked well for us.
My kids are very intelligent and they were never dumbed down. They are all very aware of what is going on, and they are very good at keeping me in check. It’s a good thing because as a Dad, you have to get your point across without raising your voice.
I have three children, who are all adults now. My oldest son is a Ph.D. student in clinical psychology at the University of Toronto, my daughter is a lawyer in private practice, and my youngest son is a software developer.
