Pierid is an adult male SilkWing who was introduced in The Lost Continent. He was one of the ten flamesilk dragons kept by Queen Wasp in the flamesilk factory, where he was last seen. It is unknown where he currently resides. Danaid claimed that he was untrustworthy. Blue thought that Pierid seemed desperately unhappy and was one of the few flamesilks who seemed to be interested in escaping the flamesilk cavern.
