One of the most frustrating things about my life is that I'm not as good at picking up on people as I'd like to be, so I tend not to notice things that other people do. I don't pick up on people's emotions as well as I should, and I miss out on the social cues that they send. This can be a serious problem in the workplace, or in any situation where someone is trying to get your attention or influence you.
I do feel like I have an unusually good intuition for people, though. I'm good at reading people's nonverbal cues, and I make up for my lack of social skills with a strong sense of empathy for others.
I'm also good at reading people's emotions, and I have a pretty good sense of what really goes on in their heads. This helps me to get things done more quickly than other people would be able to, because I know what to focus on, and what needs to be done.
My main problem is that I tend to focus on superficial things.
