I think it sounds like you might be falling into the same trap that I did. I'm an INFP, and I had a bad first year at college because I was so lonely. But it's not that bad. I have great friends now, and I'm having fun. So don't worry about failing - it happens to everyone. All you can do is work hard, be nice to your peers, and try to make connections with people you like.
You've already mentioned that you're a creative person. If you're going to make an anime, or make videos about anime culture, it would be a lot easier if you came to a studio with a group of people who share your interests and personalities. You can exchange ideas and help each other out, and you can have fun doing it. So don't be afraid to ask people for advice, or just talk to them.
