When I saw the above photo, I felt compelled to write about her. She's a bit difficult to understand at first glance, with a variable hairstyle and an unusual choice of clothes. But she's a sweetheart, and I enjoyed discussing her with my friends.
I'm always happy to discuss people I know, but it's particularly nice to talk about those who are so different from me. It's like seeing another perspective on the world. I gain a new understanding of their situation and their feelings through the conversation.

I: What's your favorite anime?
Shiho: Most recently, I watched "A Place Further Than The Universe" (directed by Shingo Yamashita), and I really liked it.
I: You like it? But it's so sad!
Shiho: I think that's why I liked it.
