Navy Blue (Sage Elsesser) personality type is INFP, and that’s what I am. I believe that personality typing has a lot of utility, and it’s one of the most widely used in the industry. It should be. It describes a lot of the common threads among people who perform great work and make meaningful contributions.
If you look at my feedback, you’ll see that I often talk about my need for privacy. I also talk about being emotional, sensitive, and compassionate. I have an intuitive nature, and I tend to follow through with my ideas, even if they are risky or unorthodox. To me, that means that I need to be left alone more than other people do.
I enjoy my work, but I am not a workaholic by any means. I call myself a “workvac,” and it’s all about balance for me. I like to go out and have some fun with my friends and family, but I also need to be at the office working hard when the time comes. That’s not to say I don’t like to get out of the office and offsite, but that’s not always possible.
