I kept looking for him, but he was gone when I looked away again. He would just disappear on me.
Stepping out of the plane, I couldn’t go back in again. The door was locked, and there were no other passengers on the plane.
I thought I was going to have to spend the night in Alaska without any sleep because of this crazy man.
