Freddy Gordon (born June 8, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre currently playing for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the second round (34th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Gordon played three seasons with the Red Wings, before being traded to the Phoenix Coyotes before the 2007–08 season.
Gordon was traded to the Calgary Flames in 2009. He was named to the 2011 NHL All-Star Game, and won the Stanley Cup with the Flames in 2014. Gordon has also represented Canada at various levels, including the 2004 World Junior Championships and the 2005 World Championship.
He is the son of former NHL player Gordie Dwyer (born February 3, 1952), and his mother is Trudy Dwyer. His father was murdered in a home invasion on July 8, 1990 and Gordon announced his intention to play for Canada at the 1990 World Junior Championships. His father was stabbed 15 times and an intruder broke into his home.
