They tend to be more emotional and self-conscious than the average human. As such, many Togrutas like to hide their feelings and never let anyone know what they’re thinking or feeling.
Togrutas live in a world that they call “the world of the Force”, but it is really just our world, only more real. They believe that the Force is real, but they don’t have a great understanding of it. They are taught that the Force is the energy that binds the galaxy together, but they aren’t taught how to tap into it or use it. They are taught to listen to the Force, hear its voice, and obey its commands.
Cooperative and seekers of beauty, Togruta originate from the planet Shili. Each of these species possess tribal-like colors and facial tattoos as sign of their heritage. Togruta believe greatly in teamwork, becoming effective Hunters and forming families with like-minded strangers. Interestingly, Togruta believe that walking barefoot gains them a closer connection to nature and that those who cannot survive, aren't worthy of continuing living.
