Duke personality type is ENTP, so I was looking for a piece of writing that would show a strong ENTP personality. I found this short story and it’s perfect for that.
The story is about an ENTP, who also happens to be an associate professor in a political science department at a university. He has quite an interesting personality. I particularly loved his description of his own personality:
“I am a political scientist; that is, I believe that the study and prediction of political behavior is the most important and useful thing I can do with my time and money.” “You are a sociopath,” the president’s aide said, “but only by nature of your thinking. You are not a sociopath by nurture, or upbringing, or genetics. You are a sociopath because of your nature.” “I am not a sociopath,” he replied, “and I do not believe I am one. I am no more a sociopath than you are a tree.”
I think this is exactly what an ENTP personality is like, but it’s definitely not for everyone.
