Capricorn personality type is ISTJ, the most common of the “function” personality types. This type is very grounded, practical, materialistic, and logical. They are extremely hard-working and serious, and they are often viewed as uptight and emotionally repressed. They are known for being very organized, thoughtful, and reserved, but also for having a serious, even dour demeanor. They are typically very loyal to friends and family, but are aloof to most strangers.
ISFJ is the rarest of the four primary functions, making up less than 3% of the population. It is the most caring and empathetic of all the types (along with the other two “introverted” functions: INFJ and ENFJ). The ISTJ has a hard time dealing with their own emotions, and can therefore be very vulnerable and dependent on others. The ISFJ is likely to take on the role of “caretaker” (typically the mother) for those around them.
The ISTJ is also known as the “guardian” or “watchman” personality type. Some people consider them to be overly serious and uptight or even pessimistic.
