In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Simon is a newcomer fighter, as he is the only character not to receive any sort of representation in the entire roster. He will be wearing the outfit he wore in the final scene of Chapter 13. His victory theme is "The Ultimate Life" and his victory animation is him walking up to the victory screen and saying "I won!".
Simon is considered one of the worst characters in the game, as well as what is considered to be the worst newcomer in the game. His KO animations are rather boring and doesn't make him look like a winner at all; additionally, his weight causes him to be semi-floaty and deals medium damage, making it hard to KO him (although, like all characters, this can be remedied by using a medium or light attack). His grab and throw animations are also rather boring and silly, and he has a terrible grab animation; during his grab animation, he looks like he's having trouble grabbing the opponent, and then he finally does it.
