Walter personality type is INFJ, for Intuition, Feeling, and Judgment. INFJ's are deeply caring individuals who are very sensitive to the needs of others. They are adept at seeing the big picture in each situation yet are very in tune with the details of their environment. INFJs have a natural ability to see the big picture in life, but can also state exactly what is happening when it is happening. INFJs are often capable of discerning the motives of others and are very aware of the ethical implications of their actions. INFJs are very gifted at reading people, especially those they are competing with for power or who are challenging their position. Although INFJs can appear to be socially shy, they actually have a large need for social contact as a coping mechanism for dealing with the stress of their inner world. INFJs can appear to be shy, quiet, or reserved because they have a deep need to process their feelings before they express them. INFJs have a natural sense of right and wrong and an innate value system that is difficult to question. INFJs have a strong desire to be part of a group and will often join groups or clubs for this reason.
