Randy personality type is ESTP, which is a type that is somewhat rare, although it is also one of the most common among software engineers. Summary
As you can see, while the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) does have some good points, it also has some serious flaws. The most important thing for me is that it doesn't accurately predict how people are likely to perform in the workplace, which is important when deciding whether or not to hire someone for a job. The MBTI is not very useful for predicting how employees will perform on a project or in a team, which are the two main reasons you would use it. If you want to get a better idea of how someone might perform in a team, I would prefer your use the Zimbardo Machiavellianism Test. This test can give you an accurate assessment of how employees will perform in a team environment.
