Penny personality type is INFP, and so is my mother! So I'm pretty sure she's an INFP. I've always thought she was, but I've never asked her. So far I've only seen her reactions to the more extroverted characters (Huey, Dewey, Louie) but I'm sure she'd be fine with extroverts that don't require her constant attention and reassurance.
She's been described as shy and introverted, but that's really just the surface level description. She's actually a very confident and strong woman. She's very kind and compassionate, and would be able to dote on any of her children. She's a very independent woman on the surface, but is actually very sociable and supportive of her friends. She doesn't have a huge amount of friends, but she loves them all dearly. I think she'd be a great mother to an extroverted child and would be able to help them to achieve their full potential.
This is just speculation, of course. But I think she would be a good mother. She would have the patience to help them with their social development and their emotional development, while also being able to keep them grounded in reality.
