Ram personality type is INFP, so he's a very sensitive, empathetic person. This is why he was so easily traumatized by his upbringing, and it's also why he is so hard on himself in the beginning: to see if he can learn to be stronger. He is also always trying to balance the "light" and "dark" sides of himself, but he's not always good at it.
He is also a perfectionist, which goes back to his sensitive nature. Because he's not very good at understanding people, he's also very clingy and defensive. He has a lot of trouble letting people in, which is why he shuts himself off so much. He's also a bit of a hermit, and doesn't really have friends.
