They can be very supportive and protective of other people, but they themselves tend to be very compassionate and caring.
I would say that Mrs. Pell is an ISFJ, although she is more independent than most other ISFJ women I’ve known. She does make her own decisions, but she deferrs to other types’ decisions more than most ISFJs do (which makes her more like an INTP). She takes her obligations seriously, but she does like to make her own decisions. She cares about other people, but she doesn’t take care of herself.
