INFJ type here, and my son is an INFJ as well. I think that the "happiness" thing is a little vague, as it can mean different things to different people. In my opinion, an INFJ who is not happy would be miserable and not healthy. I think that many INFJ's are unhappy with the way they live their lives, but they don't realize it and don't know how to fix it. I think that most INFJ's really like everyone and want everyone to be happy, but they feel like they can never be happy because they sense that life is not working out for them. They don't realize that they are unhappy, and that they need to do something about it.
