    INFP (XwX)

(CE/AD 1811 - 1820) The Regency Era personality type is INFP, or Introverted Intuitive Feeling Perceiving. These are the people who are naturally adept at observing, understanding, and appreciating the world around them, as well as in communicating with others about these observations. They are also the people who actually do the observing and understanding--not just guess about it or assume it. They are the people who are highly intuitive and creative, but who are also humble and considerate of other's feelings. They are usually well-read and have a broad knowledge base, but they don't feel well-informed until they can feel personally involved in the information. They love to learn and often have a deep interest in a variety of subjects, but they are also very patient, careful, and thoughtful in their learning. They are able to form high-level abstract concepts about things and about themselves, but they do so only when the information is completely worthy of their attention. They are generally excellent advisors and teachers, but they don't do well when they are being criticized or put down. In fact, it is usually harder for them to listen to criticism than it is for them to give it. The best thing that anyone can do for them is to treat them with respect and dignity.
