Pleistocene personality type is INTJ, not INTP.
Is it possible for an INTJ to come to the realization that he is really an INTP? Yes. But I have never seen this happen in real life. The INTJ, who is usually also an Extravert, has a really hard time understanding himself as anything but an INTJ. He will always try to explain himself away with the extraverted logic that he uses to justify his being an INTJ rather than an INTP. He will tell you that even though he is an INTJ and not an INTP, he is still an INTP because he has all those extraverted qualities that are so typical of INTPs. And he is right: he does have them, but they are not what make him a good INTJ. He is just a good INTJ because he is an INTJ.
However, there is no denying the fact that the "INTJ-ness" of the INTJ is stronger than that of the INTP. The INTP is more introverted than the INTJ and so he is more comfortable with his introverted nature.
