The funny thing is, I was one of those people who was told that I should be a “social butterfly”. Growing up, I was labeled as a “loner”. I liked being alone and reading books while listening to music. I didn’t like hanging out with people. So what? I was okay with that. And that was until I met my best friend.
My best friend is an ENFJ, which means that we were meant to be friends. She was so good at connecting with people and helping people. She was the person who I wanted to hang out with more often.
I’ve come to realize that I am a very social person who loves to connect with people but when it comes to my personal life, I like spending time alone and being able to think.
This is why I love the “Generous Guardian” personality type.
