Auburn personality type is ISFP, so I'm not surprised I find myself in a lot of situations with children. I have four, and I'm very close with all of them. Two are in college, one is in high school and the last is in middle school. I've been a teacher for 25 years, and I'm very passionate about my job. I love to work with children because they don't really know what they're getting into. They can be so vulnerable and it's up to me to help them find their way. I've always wanted to be a teacher, but I also wanted to be a scientist or a doctor when I was younger.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about it is being able to work with children and seeing them learn something new every day. I also like having control over their day and seeing them have fun. At my school, we have a lot of different programs that they can participate in, so they can learn a lot in different ways. They can read, write, play games, do art, participate in sports, help out in the classroom and learn something new every single day.
