Maddox personality type is ENTP, and my work is ENTP. That's my type, that's my personality, that's my way of thinking, my way of doing things. And the way I work is not to go in and look at something and think, "What does it do?" I go in, and I think about how the different elements of the system will interact to provide the output that I need.
So when I'm working on a particular project, I'm thinking about all the different ways that that system is going to interact with my other systems, and I'm going to constantly be thinking about how they're going to interact with each other, and what's going to happen when they interact with each other. And then I'm going to build that system in order to make sure that it's going to work the way I want it to work.
Maddox: Right, yeah.
Dick: And, you know, some of my stuff's more conceptual and philosophical, and some of it's more practical. But it's all...it's all based on the same model of how you can build a system that's going to provide the output that you want.
