Heikala personality type is INFP, which I find is the most accurate. And she's a scientist, not a lawyer.
So I've been down this road before. The "this woman is not you" road. And I'm even more aware of it than usual right now. It's a slippery slope, and I don't want to lose her.
I don't want her to leave.
I've been trying to guide her towards being more like me, helping her to see herself as I see her. I've been working hard on the "self-sabotage" that's so common to INFPs, and i've done a lot of work on invalidating my own feelings so I'm not perceived as pushy when I try to help her through the "tough guy" part of her personality type. We've even been working on "nerd girl" stereotypes where I try to get her to see that I'm not the typical male hero, and that I'm not all about technology and gadgets, that there's a lot more to me than that.
But it seems like she's getting harder to convince.
