Imam Jafar al-Sadiq personality type is INTP, not ISTP.
“I don’t know if I would call myself an INTP, but I am certainly not an ISTP.”
I appreciate that he clarified that he’s not ISTP, but I’m not convinced. His introverted personality type is a cornerstone of his personality and how he views the world. He considers himself an introvert and he doesn’t see himself as an extrovert.
This is the same reason I don’t see myself as an ENTJ or ESTJ.
The problem is that in my mind, the ISTP is a bit too soft for being an ISTP. It’s too comfortable for me to think that it’s a type that gets his hands dirty, gets things done, can be decisive and has a strong will.
If you see this type as an ISTP, then you’re just wrong. I wouldn’t call myself ISTP either, so I’m not going to call this guy ISTP either.
