The Aymara, a people of South America who spent centuries as a quasi-independent kingdom and who were part of the Inca empire, also believe that the Aymara and the Inca can be categorized as ENTPs. The Aymara developed an extraordinarily developed oral tradition and developed craniometry, a method for measuring the volume of the head of a person. The Aymara developed a number of systems for describing the relative sizes of the head, mouth, eyes, and ears of several different people.
In the 1970s, a young anthropologist named Ashley Montagu began studying the Aymara and began to study their system of craniometry. He noticed that the largest category of Aymara that they used was called “the great ones” or “the great ones”. The Aymara would categorize all of the people they knew as being one of four types: those who were wise, those who were strong, those who were good, and those who were simple. The Aymara often said that those who were great were those who had wisdom and strength and who also had a good character.
