David personality type is ISTP, who is the role that I fall into. The ISTP is the "technical" personality, the one who not only gets along well with technology but is comfortable with its creation and maintenance. This personality type is usually described as "unconventional" and "eccentric", and while I can't speak for everyone, I can say that I'm one of those people who's usually described as "odd". (For a good example of what I'm talking about, check out this post on ISTP stereotypes .)
To me, ISTP's are the ultimate problem solvers. They are the ones who thrive on being creative and innovative in the way they approach problems. ISTP's are known for their ability to break things down into facts, analyze them thoroughly, and use logic to come up with solutions to otherwise complicated problems. They are often described as "only looking at the facts", which I think is pretty spot on.
When I was in middle and high school, I was a pretty good student. I was a straight A student and was involved in a few school clubs and sports. When I got to college, things started to change.
