He’s not the type to be proactive, so he’s not going to be in-your-face about it. He’s the type to just sit back and let things happen. That’s why he’s gone so long without winning a race. But he never gives up; he never loses faith in himself or his ability to win races. So, I believe there’s no reason why he can’t do that. I also believe that, given time, he will win. In all of his different roles, he’s been able to come up with winning ideas, and he’s done it again this year, winning races again and again and again.
What is your favorite thing about Red Bull Racing?
It’s the people. They are very skilled at what they do, but they’re also very social and good-natured. I never had a bad interaction with anyone on the team or in the organization or the driver management or the fans.
