The Introduction to the World
My story begins in my childhood home, the town of Torrington, Connecticut. My parents got divorced when I was a little over a year old, and my mother moved to the small town of Warsaw, New York to live with my paternal grandparents. My father and I remained in Torrington, and I don't remember much of that time.
Torrington is a pleasant place where lots of people live as well as a few farms and a large woods. At the age of two, I went to preschool at the nearby elementary school. But soon after that, my mother decided that she didn't like living in Warsaw. She moved back to Torrington with me and my father.
I lived in Torrington until I was ten years old. My father then moved to New York City where he worked at a firm that did computer programming. When I was ten years old, my mother moved to Westport, Connecticut in the neighboring town of Fairfield.
Westport is a quiet place with lots of trees and houses around a large lake. At the age of fourteen, I entered high school in Westport.
