Forestpunk personality type is INFP, or, in other words, the Fi-dom.
The heart and mind of a typical Heartlander, however, would be a different matter altogether.
In this respect, I can identify with the Heartland’s own attitude toward its own citizens: They are the heart of the Heartland and the mind is not necessary.
This is why Heartlanders are often so narrow-minded and stubborn. They do not want to realize that the Fi-dom is here to stay, or that their environment is shaped by it, and not by them.
That does not mean, however, that there are no differences in personality between the two types.
The most prominent one is that the Heartlander is typically more of a pragmatist than an idealist, while the Fi-dom is more inclined to thinking in generalities.
Another difference is that the Heartlander is more sensitive (Fi-dom) to criticism, while the Fi-dom is more open to criticism (Heartlander).
When I say “open to criticism”, I mean that Heartlanders are more likely to be able to accept it.
